When Rick first rides into Atlanta ... the visual is beautiful.

rarely trite, sometimes harsh, sometimes gentile, sometimes honest, sometimes hopeless, sometimes hopeful,
those that get it, and those that dont
3) the acting is sublime
the tenderness when Glenn and Maggie first meet
the pain and growth and anguish and survival of Carol
the loss ... of everyone
the could I do it ... could I go on ...
the sacrifice ...
the strength ...
4) the editing ...
the number of times that you just ... go WOW ...
so watch one episode ... nothing more, nothing less
and you will know all that you need to know
