Interventions
I have been spending a HUGE amount of brain cells on THIS ISSUE. It is about changing beliefs, ideologies, breaking ingrained habits.
The BEST metaphor that I have reached is: Intervention.
Facts and Logic do not work.
Every single addict KNOWS that what they are doing is "bad".
And until they hit ROCK BOTTOM, nothing changes. Ever!
Without an intervention, or their hitting rock bottom, nothing will change.
I think that we need to start SPEAKING about interventions.
And getting out the new/young/missing voters.
