moral dilemmas

I learned this a few years ago ...
HE was PERFECT for saving England in their time of need.
at all costs

War criminal is such an interesting phrase.
I WONDER if the geneva conventions have led to MORE deaths or less?

MIGHT saud arabia have controlled their radicals, KNOWING that a "9/11" would have left mecca and ryahd as glass parking lots?

Are teh conventions just the next in the line of "holy wars" "righteous wars" "line up in nice rows wars"?

but yah, no one is clean. no one is perfect. we all have shit in our pasts ...
and churchill was a great leader and a war criminal .... same for stalin and roosevlet ...
At what point can we really tell propaganda from ...

moral dilemmas will always exist
exigent circumstances are always judged by history ...
I crack up when people go on about hiroshima and nagasaki; but they ignroe dresden and tokyo; which killed MANY MORE

legalize everything now

it's the TRAP

we should also ban all alcohol and tobacco and caffeine ...

I aggree with your assesment of the human side.

BUT the only way to end the corruption and black market is to delete ALL of the laws making it illegal.

There was a great ted talk on "THIS" related to prostituion.

ONE country in the world FIX the problem. New Zealand.

EVERY other country still has a blakc market and the crime annd the abuse of women. (didnt mean to change examples)

we want to:

END the black market

END the corruption

END the criminalization of abusers

AND TREAT the disease

we have over 100 years of GOOD DATA

Illegal = NEVER, EVER going to work

illegal = destruction of societies and countries

FFS, look at all of south and central america

US ILLEGAL has destroy most of the western hemisphere.

WE really need to stop that. NOW

SAS meta organization

Work "organization" question thingy ....

HOW do you organize things that you reuse????

WE have a huge sad macro directory with "lower" level macros, some of which I use CONSTANTLY. Sort, merge, ZCSV, READ_excel_sheet (new one, love this), ab_catfinal, etc etc

AND IF you need the "format" for the macro, I typically put an example in the macro.

BUT .... there are a TON that are used much much much less often ... and .... I have no organization.

I dont have a card catalog, I dont have a list ...

EXAMPLE - I need to read a massive zipped file into sas.

We have done this 1000s of times.  Pretty sure that there is a macro that I use that does this AS IS.

BUT WHAT I need is a better method of finding it than a global search of my *.SAS code ... LOLOL

I GUESS, ONCE I FIND WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR, I need to document what and where. OneNote or GoogleDocs ...

Thanks you helped a ton!!

PLUS PATTERNS

Patterns are not macros, but more like meta-macros.

I need to create one of these and share it so that you see what I mean. Heh
