working moms

but also learning about independence and moms work and sometimes work is far away .... 
child development is such minimally understood "science" at this point ...
every kid is different, every parent is different, every combination is different, every outcome is different.

hell, we dont even clearly understand which parts are genetic and which parts are nurture ...

BUT
I would bet everything that I own, that having a happy mom, leads to better outcomes for the kids.

I know that my mom's working meant that I always thought that moms work. women work. that's just normal.

shudder ... look at the fools in the US who STILL think that women should be a home in the kitchen .... shudder .....
